If you wish you can set up a Timothy Fund in your church, you don’t even have to send it to us. Just open an escrow account and start depositing funds into the account monthly or quarterly as the Lord leads you. Each month send us a statement showing the balance you’ve accumulated so when we get to the field and we have a need to rent a building, buy equipment or other expenses we will know what is in the fund. We will contact you with a list of needs and you can send us a check from your Timothy Fund to cover them.
If you want us to hold onto the funds so they are more readily available when we need them send them to the Lighthouse Baptist Church, 456 Woodlawn Road, Crossville, TN 38555. Be sure to designate the check to go to “Bro. Art Shady for the Timothy Fund.” Then the church will deposit it into their missions account and earmark it for that purpose. They will notify us of the balance in the fund and when we get to the field we will contact the home church to get the funds and appropriate them accordingly.
Any time anyone wants an accounting of the Timothy Fund showing how the funds are used you may contact us and we will gladly send you one. Pastors are also cordially invited to join us on the field and see how their money is being spent to win souls and start new Baptist churches in the land of the free.
